WORK DAY 2008 This Camp is Your Camp!
Men’s Ministries will be hosting three (3) Work Days this year May 29, 30 and 31. There is much work to be done and little time to do it. Come for half day, whole day or bring your work clothes plus your tools and stay for all three days. Sleeping quarters will be provided on grounds and food will be furnished for those staying overnight.
We need: · ROOFERS – This is by far the most urgent project! For the past several years, we have replaced numerous ceiling tiles that have been damaged by the leaking roof. By the time the tiles are purchased and equipment rented, this has been very costly. There are over 3,000 screws in the roof that are either loose or missing. 10 – 12 men are needed in order to correct this problem during this work time. In a recent conversation with Bishop Kingrea, he asked me how this project was progressing. My response was every time that I get started something more urgent comes up and I am a one man band and there are just too many instruments to play. He laughed. · Lumber Jacks – trees and limbs are down from the high winds. They need to be cut, stacked and/or placed on the brush pile. Brush removed from Cemetery fence line. · Painters – All buildings are in need of new coats of paint. · Electricians – Numerous outlets need to be updated and lights need replacing. · Landscapers – Flower beds need to be weeded, mulch needs to be spread, shrubs and flowers need to be replaced/planted plus grass needs mowing and weed-eating. · Plumbers – Several water shut-off valves with man-hole covers to be installed.
Work that is done on these will be an investment in current and future generations. What will your deposit be?

Mission & Purpose
Mission Statement
Together, we will help present every man with a credible offer of the Gospel, encourage them to pursue God, and equip them for spiritual service in the home, church, workplace, community, and world.
Our goals are two-fold:
A. To identify and equip at least one man in every willing
Pentecostal Holiness Church who wants to build a disciple-making ministry to
men by the year 2010.
B. Additionally, (1) that there is a men’s ministry group in every
Church, (2) that these groups will reach out to all men in their church
and community, (3) that every man will be trained and motivated “To
offer Christ, and (4) to make disciples of all men!
Our purposes:
| To provide masculine Christian fellowship; | |
| To inspire, teach, and equip Pentecostal Holiness men to become involved in lifestyle evangelism; | |
| To create for Pentecostal Holiness men the opportunity to serve by challenging, training, and involving them in their gifted ministries under the leadership of the pastor; | |
| To challenge Pentecostal Holiness men to organize and support activities for boys through Royal Rangers; | |
| To challenge Pentecostal Holiness men to sponsor and participate in new church planting; | |
| To organize the Men of Action ministry at the general, conference and local levels to reach out to the local church, community, nation, and world in times of crises, disaster, and need. |
