PRAYER PAGE

My niece, Renay is still not doing very well. After several attempts to get iron into her, the doctor's realized that she has been allergic to all iron supplements at this time. She cannot have another blood transfusion until she becomes serious enough for it. The doctor's have told her that they have done all that they can. They cannot find where the blood is going to and it will take months before they may be able to find something. She is losing her vision. Even after getting stronger glasses, she can barely see. She is weak, suffering headaches, stomach pain, irritability and is having trouble just making it day by day. They recently put her on strong antidepressants because she cannot stand noise or even handle the company of her family at times. Her mother said that she has been spending most of her time alone in her bedroom. Would you please submit this request to as many as possible. We are praying for a healing miracle for her, her husband Jeff and her 4 daughters. Also, please pray for her parents and family.

06-25-08	Angie Nipper	Angie is Roger and Linda's nephew's wife. She has been in very bad health for some time. The Doctors tell them that they could loose her at any time. Her problems started as Krohn's disease and now she has joint deterioration and some kind of hardening of her organs. She's not able to eat and is in a lot of pain. She and Larry Jr. have 2 teenage children, 15 and 17.

06-06-08	Virginia Smith	Sister Smith is the widow of the late Irvin Smith and needs prayer. She went in for surgery on her gallbladder and they found she had pancreatitis and has to post-pone the surgery. They waited and did the surgery and she needs your prayers. She is still trying to recover.
06-09-08	Submitted by: Rhonda Akers	My Dad has become very ill, he is a cancer patient, but was doing Ok until Thursday night. He's in the hospital and I've been there all weekend. We will be doing hospice care within a few days. My sister's father-in-law just passed away and Funeral was Tuesday. Please remember us in prayer.
06-11-08	Andrew Stephens	He has lung cancer and just had a brain tumor removed that was cancerous. He is in a lot of pain as he was released today from Duke University Hospital. Please remember him in your prayers. He is 45 years old.
06-11-08	Connie Bowles	UPDATE I just returned from Charlottesville (UVA) after my 5th round of Chemo. Things did not go well for me this time around. About 3:00 a.m. on Sunday morning I had to call for a nurse to help me. I had accumulated a large amount of fluid on my right lung and in my chest cavity. They checked my vital signs and my pulse had dropped to 42 (72 is normal for me). They did X-Rays and EKG's. They gave me lasix to remove the fluid but I was almost in a crisis situation. In the afternoon, my doctor had to discontinue the Doxorubicin I was taken for fear that my heart might have been damaged. My doctor is still not sure about my heart and will do further tests when I return. I continue with the Ifosamide, the 2nd chemo drug, as I seem to be doing especially good now. Continue your prayers for me, I will return to Charlottesville for testing on June 27 and will resume Chemo on June 30, if all goes well.

06-19-08	Viola Dickerson	Please remember Mom again today. They did admit her last night to the hospital with pneumonia. She is very upset because she had to stay. Gary just got off the phone with the nurse. Mom has gotten real combative and agitated this morning and the nurses are having a time with her. The doctor told us last night that Mom would probably not get much better, that she was declining and the pneumonia episodes were getting closer together and that she may not have more than several weeks to a couple of months left. 06-26-08	Brother Connie Bowles	On June 30 I will be admitted to UVA Charlottesville for round 6 of chemo. Hopefully, this will be the last chemo I will have to take. I had a difficult time on June 7 when I developed a large amount of fluid. My pulse dropped to 42 and I could not finish all of the doxorobucin for fear of developing a heart problem. Please continue to pray for me. I am dependent upon your prayers.
06-26-08	Bobbie LaFon	URGENT PRAYER We just got news that Bobbie Stoots LaFon was in a bad car accident. The news we got stated they had to fly her out of the Pulaski Hospital. We are unsure at this time where they were taking her. Please remember this family and Bobbie in your prayers. UPDATE Bobbie is at Roanoke Memorial. She has a very deep laceration to head and broken hip. They will be doing surgery on her hip. They were concerned about the injury to her head ,she hit the back of a tractor trailer and was thrown out of her car. Thank You Kathy B.
