STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED TO GOD!

II Timothy 2:15

PRAY THE REVELATION WAY was the theme for the W.I.N. Training Day

which was held on May 31, 2008.  This training event for intercessors was held

at The Appalachian Conference Campgrounds in Dublin, Va.

Approximately 48 people attended to learn more about prayer!

Juanita Kingrea opened the event with a scripture and with prayer.

Donna Hankla taught about prayers from the Book of Revelation.  This

book teaches several key principles for prayer.  The very first chapter opens

with John receiving a “fresh vision of Jesus Christ.”  We need to take our

eyes off our pain and off our troubles.  Like John we need a “fresh look”at

       Jesus Christ.

Debbie Hutton gave an excellent power point presentation about “Biblical

Qualifications for Prayer Coordinators.”  She encouraged us to remain faithful

to the call of intercession.  She taught us to be trust in God and to wait on Him.

One scripture that spoke to me was from Micah 7:7.  “Therefore I will look

unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will HEAR

       me.”

Bishop Kingrea concluded the meeting with Communion. There was a beautiful

Presence of the Lord during this time.

     THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!

Will you heed the call in 2008?

"If my people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 (Amplified)

THE LORD UTTERS HIS VOICE BEFORE HIS ARMY!

“And the Lord utters His voice before His army, for His host is very great, and

they are strong and powerful who execute God's word.  For the day of the Lord

is great and very terrible, and who can endure it?”  (Joel 2:11. Amplified)

On May 1, 2008, an army from the Appalachian Conference participated in

prayer for the National Day of Prayer.  This event was hosted by Shirley Dobson

in the Cannon Building at Washington, D.C.

This year Mrs. Dobson had some outstanding prayer events.  Airplane pilots circled

all the state capitols and prayed for the nation!

Sara Ballenger, Coordinator of the Capitol Hill Prayer Watch had a puzzle map of

the United States.  Each intercessor was given a state.  The intercessor then prayed for

the state and placed it on the map.

Attending from the Appalachian Conference were:  Debbie Hutton, Beckie Thompson,

Betty Sanders, Debbie Minucie, Donna Hankla and Chris Hankla.

Beckie Thompson has attended in the past.  This was a return trip for her.  She declared

prayers over the nation.  She spoke God's word and decreed His promises for the

     United States.

Betty Sanders said that the “Prayer Time” in the Cannon building was awesome!

She enjoyed praying with intercessors from other states.  She was a great blessing.

Debbie Minucie is a Night Watchman.  She participated in all prayer events and

provided much needed support for the Appalachian Conference Team.

This was a return trip for Debbie Hutton.  She was “strong and powerful, executing

God's word” for the nation.  (Joel 2:11)

Donna Hankla and her teen-age son, Chris Hankla were excited to return for the

fifth year. Each year we look forward to joining with God's army on that special

day of prayer.  Praying at the nation's capitol is indeed an awesome experience!

THE HEBREW YEAR 5768

Sundown of September 13, 2007 begins the Jewish New Year 5768.  Insight by Chuck Pierce regarding this year helps us to intercede in an informed manner.

This is known as The Year of the Full Circle of Life. It is a time for a New Beginning.  It is known as “The Year of Samekh Chet.”

A key scripture text is Ephesians 5: 14 and 15.  “For this reason, it says, AWAKE, sleeper, AND rise from the dead.  AND Christ will shine on you.  Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise.”

Pray for WISDOM to walk with God this year
