PTP Responds to Haiti Disaster

Click here to give to the Haiti Disaster Relief Fund.

Port-au-Prince, Haiti was struck by a 7.0 earthquake Tuesday afternoon. Most of the city has been destroyed and hundreds of thousands may have died in the quake. Many more could die in the coming weeks due to food and water shortage, disease, and lack of medical attention.

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. People to People has its largest work in this country, ministering to over 3000 children. The IPHC also has 37 churches in Haiti who need our assistance as they seek to minister to their nation. We are sending a team to Haiti this week to asses the situation and help with relief efforts.  Other relief trips are already planned for March and June of 2010. The road to recovery will be long and difficult.

We can't do it alone!  The Haiti Disaster Relief fund will provide immediate and long-term assistance to the nation as it begins the recovery process. We have attached a bulletin insert.  Please us it this Sunday to share the need with your church.

Will you help us by giving online today or collecting an offering at your church? Your gift will help us bring hope to Haiti.

You can donate online or send your contribution to:
