  What is WIN?

WIN stands for World Intercession Network, an intercessory prayer ministry sponsored by the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.

When was WIN organized?

In November, 1982, a WIN committee was established. This charter committee included five persons who represented key ministries within the denomination. The function of the existing WIN committee is to challenge, guide, train, and encourage other individuals in the ministry of prayer.

How does WIN help?

WIN is actively involved in promoting prayer through conference WIN directors, preparing materials with information for better praying, giving seminars, and conducting prayer sessions for strategic occasions.

Who may participate in WIN?

Any Christian sincerely interested in a life-style of more committed prayer for God’s world is invited to participate. WIN prepares a monthly WIN Prayer Focus  and partners annually with the World Missions Department in the publication of Link To The World, a daily prayer calendar for missionaries and our denominational ministry at large.

WIN objectives include:

bullet Providing resource lists for prayer materials
bullet Strengthening an intercessory focus on I.P.H.C. Mission 21 goals
bullet Developing Houses of Prayer for neighborhoods through local churches
bullet Sponsoring and promoting WIN prayer conferences and other key prayer events
bullet Encouraging active participation in The First Friday Fast
bullet Directing WIN Prayer Training Schools

Treasures Old & New

      CURE FOR FEAR!

Fear is like a huge wave; that wants to sweep over us! But God's peace is more
powerful than a Wave of Fear!   Waves of Fear begin to fade when God's
peace takes over!   This powerful cure brings healing to our minds when we
speak God's promises. Here are some Peace Promises that you can degree for
     your own mind.

*Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I
unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)

*For God has not given me the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and a
sound mind.” (II Timothy 1: 7)

*Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he
      trusts in you.”

When the Lord called Jeremiah into the ministry, TWICE He told Jeremiah:
DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THEIR FACES!   (Jeremiah 1: 4-17) God tells
Jeremiah, “Be not afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you.” (v. 8)
Then again, God tells Jeremiah; “Gird up your lions, and arise, and speak unto
them all that I command you; be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound
     you before them.” (v. 17)

FEAR can bring harm to all realms of the human body: to spirit, to soul and
to the body. Research shows that fear can cause affects such as the following:
*Arrhythmias of the heart, asthma, allergies, high blood pressure, irritable bowel
syndrome, headaches, insomnia, diabetes and even eczema.

On the other hand, God's peace can bring health to all realms of the human body:
to spirit, to soul and to the body. Scripture tells us, “And the very God of peace
sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved
blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (I Thessalonians 5:23)

    BE LIKE JEHOSPHAT!

When surrounded by an army of problems, take your eyes off the fear. Pray like
Jehosphat! “O our God, will You not exercise judgment upon them? For we have
no might to stand against this great company. ....   WE DO NOT know what to do,
but OUR EYES ARE UPON YOU!” (II Chronicles 20)
Turning Points

     JUST ONE MORE PRAYER!

Prayer brings God's kingdom to earth. Consider the Lord's Prayer!

“Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.”   Keep praying, don't give up.
Your prayers are being received in heaven. Angels stand in heaven and mix our
     prayers with incense.

“And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there
was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all
saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.” (Revelation 8:5)

Consider Saul, who became Apostle Paul. He was very far away from God.
Yet, disciples were praying for him. Then one day, God shined His Great Light
in Saul's path and into his heart.

Keep praying, God can shine the same Light for your lost loved one!
